About Jeffrey
Jeffrey M. Olsen earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School- Camden. While at Rutgers, Jeffrey served as Managing Editor for the Journal of Law & Religion and as a Clinical Associate in the Domestic Violence Clinic. Additionally, Jeffrey served as President of his graduating class and was a recipient of the Dean's Service Award for his service to the law school community.

Prior to Rutgers Law School, Jeffrey graduated from Clemson University where he obtained a B.A. in Political Science. Jeffrey is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Legal Experience
Jeffrey began his legal career as a Law Clerk to the Hon. Edward W. Hoffman in the Superior Court of New Jersey- Burlington Vicinage. In this role, he assisted Judge Hoffman with a wide array of matters on the Dissolution (Divorce) and Non-Dissolution dockets including: custody/parenting time, child support and alimony. Judge Hoffman is presently the Presiding Judge of the Family Division in the Burlington Vicinage.
Upon completion of his clerkship, Jeffrey accepted a position as a Deputy Attorney General with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General. After approximately two years in government service, Jeffrey entered private practice at a small firm operating out of New York City and Ocean County, New Jersey. At the firm, Jeffrey emphasized taking on matters in many different practice areas including: Immigration, Property Insurance, Business Formation & Compliance and Municipal law. Additionally, while at the firm Jeffrey served as counsel to a plumbing and water damage remediation company which serviced customers throughout the State of New Jersey.

In the summer of 2024, after careful deliberation, Jeffrey decided to do something he wanted to do since his first day of work as a teenager in a pizzeria: become his own boss! As a result, The Law Office of Jeffrey Olsen LLC was formed.
